It seemed logical enough. Dr.Gero had to have imbued Cell with the same end goal; they were all designed to find and terminate Goku. His home had been abandoned when he and 18 found it, and yet it was the only place he could think of to go, his programming to kill the home owner aside, it seemed right. Honestly, if he knew cell was there he would have headed in the other direction - his only exception being the hope of finding 18 there, as maybe she had the same thought, which was exactly why he had began making his way back to Gokus place. He didn't want to think of the possibility that Cell had caught 18 too.. ? Too? What had happened-? he couldn't say. He thought Cell had him but then he woke up, seemingly unharmed. Nothing made sense and all he knew was that he needed to find someone to explain- anyone would be good at this point- even Goku himself! 17 made a point to land a little way away from Goku's home- in the wilderness that surrounded it, thinking he needed to sneak around just in case. He crept through the woods and stationed himself behind a tree just beyond the clearing that the home sat directly in the middle of. He could see the house which seemed to still be completely deserted much to his disappointment. What would he do now? Where would he go? Were they ever coming back? He had so many irritating questions and mentally he hated himself right now, knowing that this was his fault- if he had of RAN like Piccolo and 16 told him too, instead of letting himself get so caught up in a battle he couldn't win, none of this would have happened... After the angered kicking of a small pebble directly through the tree across from him he flopped himself down on the grass, defeated for now. Maybe he would just wait a little while- but he wasn't going to step out from his hiding place, thinking he still had to remain hidden- especially with the thought that Cell might still be roaming around out there. He needed to relax for a moment if anything- he didn't think well when he was mad... Or sad for that matter and right now, despite how 'un-android' like it was of him, he felt both these crummy emotions in spades.
