This past year or so, I’ve been discovering what music is coming out of Taiwan and it has been absolute pleasure to feel a bit more in touch with my motherland. One of my absolute favorite artists that I started listening to is 壞特 ?te. Shrouded in a mist of mystery, 壞特 ?te has won listeners over with her distinct breathy vocals and undeniable R&B groove. This week, she shares her new song “虧欠 Owe,” a dreamy track that spans just over 3.5 minutes long. From the light keyboard to the sweet licks of the guitar, “虧欠 Owe” gives us a wistful taste to 壞特 ?te’s songwriting. There’s an indulgence to this track that really makes you feel like you’re floating on cloud nine and you’ll want to dive in to submerge yourself in that feeling. 壞特 ?te creates a sonic shroud of warm sounds that just envelopes your whole being in a blissful state.
