"Eve damnit." frustrated was an understatement. Raven was not only that, he was also spooked and confused and rather upset. It had definitely been a slight shock to wake up in this condition with no explanation for it. He was just glad this had happened after Reese had woken up, otherwise there's not telling what might have happened. Its not that he didn't trust Reese with his current condition, he trusted her with his life, its just that he was afraid that had she been there he might have accidentally hurt her. He still wasn't quite sure how to manage these claws and talons, let alone the wings that had minds of their own. The fact that the room was now a complete mess was a testament to the fact he had little idea how to handle this new form.
He was so annoyed with himself that his new-found feathers stood on end. He'd clawed up the bed, the floor and the wall in places from where he'd slipped and skidded and fallen due to the talons and his altered balance, but at least he was able to stand relatively still. It wasn't much, but it was progress. Dealing with this alone definitely wasn't going to help, so he decided to choke down his pride and get Reese. Or rather, he sent Shadow to get her, as there was no way he was going to try going down those stairs. He just hoped things would turn out alright.
