i just. this is really dumb but the beatles have trascended past comprehensible metrics of fame and iconography to the point where it's hard to think of them as Actual People. so i don't mind rpf of them seeing as i myself engage w it lol

you know what........... i'm gonna go out there and say it: yes!! not significantly better, mind you, but i think he was at a creative peak in the early seventies and his songs could've easily rivaled some of jp's tunes :)

17. did the other three excuse john's behaviour too much?

i guess. it's a little weird but like, i get it. in spite of everything john was their friend, their brother; i don't blame them for wanting to justify his actions and defend his honor now that he's not here anymore, even if sometimes i don't think they should.

what are some of your fave post-Beatles outputs by any of the Bugs? aside from ATMP because obvi thats your fave :)

ok i am actually obsessed with back to the egg and i can't believe it was poorly received? 70s critics hated fun apparently :/ it's filled with bangers: getting closer, spin it on, arrow through me ? i mean come onnnnn. there are some meh songs here and there but i don't really mind them. plus i'm obsessed with the whole sci-fi theme, i love space and everything that references it so.. 7/10 talented brilliant amazing etc etc

i have yet to fully listen to it but from what i've heard so far walls & bridges may be my favorite john album? either that or mind games. also it has harry nilsson in one song which is something i didn't know !! 8/10

george's self-titled is another one of my favorites. it's so sweet and there's not a hint of bitterness towards Anyone Like At All. most george album have at least one dig towards someone or something but not here :) 8/10 this was his solar power era (but better)
