2 years ago Nate spent a week backpacking in northern Yukon, checking off the number 1 spot on his wilderness bucket list. The location was every bit as spectacular as he had hoped, but the trip did not go as planned. He blew out his ankle, had to call for a helicopter evac, and then hitchhike 75 miles back to his car from the helipad. Despite all that, he's dying to go back. The trip was not necessarily pleasant and it sure wasn’t easy (nor was it affordable lol), but rugged Arctic mountains call to his soul and despite all the hardship the ONLY thing he remember from this trip is the incredible beauty and how happy it made him to be amongst it.
