☠"It's Perfect! ABSOLUTLY PERFECT"☠
☠"Ah Ha Ha....Ahhhh Ha Ha HA!!☠
He commented lifting the newspaper to read again for the fifth time. Every time he tried he couldn't seem to get through it without laughing until it hurt. The chirping of birds was once again interrupted with the flutter of wings. The birds had been scared away with the sudden outburst from the now grey haired male.
His resolve was to use his last chance to watch the events unfold soon to be the worlds greatest story. He was dead to the world and his message carried ensuring there would be another with the energy. As far as Roger was concerned, he was living quite the life even as he rested drunk under the tree with no cares to cast. The darkened red coat over his shoulders kept him in comfort with the memories of the past having faded with time to a lighter hue of red. The black beard under his nose carried strands of gray, the pirate having aged much over the years.
The grips of age adorned his features revealing the scars earned over the years. He was to simply live for the adventure and become the greatest showman. Roger did what he could to prove his theory in resolve. He was confident that there would certainly be others who could put together the history of the past alongside the ventures to be had in the future.
The moment he had caught his breath he leaned back against the the tree trunk his blurry gaze focusing on the leaves that slowly fell to the ground. The male was glad to be a patient man because the greatest of things always came with time. Time seemed to stand still a moment as the rosy cheeks faded a bit the pirate king sobering up enough to find dinner.
Images of his crew came to mind alongside the secrets necessary to pull of the worlds greatest triumph. Even if he was found out Gol wouldn't admit to anything or give any edge for anyone. He and his friends had to trample over their world and fight with courage mustered through adventures and repetition. Why would he make it easier for another were was the fun in such a thing?
His voice carried out over the cliffside as the old man finally choked a bit before gulping down the rest of his drink. Suddenly, the king set the paper aside only to inspect his newest issue. Lifting the canister to his eyes, Roger glared into the empty canister with a growl of annoyance. Roger took in a deep breath finally setting the empty canister corking it before forcing himself to his feet with a grunt.
☠"They sure are a lively bunch. I am so glad things worked out so well!"☠
He muttered out during his stretch. As he made his way through the trees the shadows shifted with the daylight timing the day in its own way. Why rush about and seek troubles, at this point he was far too sick and old to dance with the youth. In retirement, he only had to wait a bit for a few familiar faces to announce their conquer over the seas. The thought brought a smile from the male and he again burst out into laughter unable to stop even if his stomach had grown tight from his fits of laughter.
Who would pass up such a chance to see the world transform. To watch their children tear up the distorted sense of order inflected by the many. This was his newfound dream. In his short rule he sparked an era of defiance and heart. Everything Gol did had to be done with style therefore he held no grievances to the youths advances.
☠"AH Ha Ha Ha, they all got it but we know who will be first, right? Though, I placed my chips on many only time will unveil who will reveal the worlds greatest secret.☠
Little did they know, they were all right with their purposes and sense of adventure. Whether it was for the love of adventure or the drive to be the most powerful or famous. Wealth and all these things alongside a decent bet still pushed out a generation of fierce pirates and Gol found himself satisfied with it all. He had sworn not to get involved for any reason otherwise the fabric of it all would be ripped away.
☠Ouii!! Somebody is comin' I can feel it. I am sure this will be fun and I hope they have good stories to tell!!!☠
The elderly male pulled his colorful mask back over his face after he had tugged an old cloak over his shoulders to cover his captains coat. Its dull grey was sure to hide the vibrant colors enough for him to have an encounter without being discovered. It was a good way to find information on the world events. To greet hungry passerby's and offer them a drink or two alongside a hearty meal was the prefect setting. Besides he was running low on supplies and once a pirate always a pirate.
☠"What a beautiful Sunset, wouldn't you agree Rouge?"☠
Roger commented quickly, the smile finally fading from his features as he sank back into his thoughts silence finally filling the air.
