In this May 1964 photograph, Car 9627 “poses” outside the World’s Fair grounds in Flushing Queens. It’s one of the “Bluebird” subway cars that rolled on the IRT Flushing Line to take visitors to the fair. Served by the A/C/J/Z/ 2/3/4 and 5 trains, the center also features the Dey Street Passageway, providing connections to the A/C train’s Chambers Street station, the 2/3 train’s Park Place station, the E train’s World Trade Center station, the R/W train’s Cortlandt Street station, the 1 train’s WTC Cortlandt Street station, and the PATH Train’s World Trade Center station. Taken by Patrick Cashin in 2014, this photo shows the Fulton Center's Sky Reflector Net.
