His fingers tapped against the stone slab table, a look of complete annoyance on his face. Standing up, he marched his way down the hallway, fully intent on meeting the pharaoh. His time had been wasted, and he was about to make his grievance known. The pharaoh will rue the day he ever decided to ignore the eldest brother of his closest aid.
The gilded doors to the pharaoh’s chambers were sealed shut. Not bothering with knocking, Arkana conjured a gust of wind to knock the doors open. This was his way of knocking. He marched into the chambers, the flames that lit the room turned an unearthly red, coloring the room in a dark crimson light.
Arkana moved towards the pharaoh, his eyes looked directly into his liege’s. Crossing his arms over his chest, Arkana stomped one foot on the ground. “It took you nearly a whole damn month to see my art request! I didn’t think it was that hard of a request! Wait, are you ignoring me, Atem? I would like to speak with the gods who manage your rule!”
