Takes place is the Blooming Dead Universe by @otherwindow .

You are in a zombie apocalpyse and a group of survivors is trapped. The only way to save everyone is to walk out through a horde of zombie completely naked.

You have to be completely naked because there are no clean smelling clothes that don't have blood on them, and you have limited resources. You use what little water you have left to clean yourself. When you face the undead, your only protection is the lavendar scented oil you mixed with water and covered yourself in.

But you can choose to walk out with Crocs on or go bearfoot. What do you choose?

What would you wear when you are naked and walking through a horde of zombies?

Crocs

Nothing. I go barefoot.

I choose to wear crocs because it would be extremely funny if I died and strangers see my undead corpse naked except for some lime green crocs. Like what would you even make of that? I want to be a clown even in death. Even better if I could put a red nose on.

My friend chose barefoot because he said it be even more embaressing to have crocs on.

being a person who is highly empathetic, I often wonder if media is different for other people. Like I saw the post by @otherwindow about the cleric, :(  and i felt every single emotion at once.

I felt the words choking and stuck in their throat

I felt the rumble and shake of the ground

I felt the loss and grief and 

i can’t explain it. I feel every bit, and can see it so clearly it’s as if i was there , a distant memory.

I feel the magic channeling through my veins in my arms, the suppressed sobs that wreak my body, I hear the creaking vines grow and smell the flowers and hear the earth rumble beneath the body of the friend that died far too soon

So (I think its empathy, or some sort of anxiety-trait TM I’ve developed), but every piece of media I consume, I feel to the nth degree

Comedies are hell (second hand embarrassment’s a bitch)

Horror and thrillers physically pain me (I remember having to stop watching  a purge series (idk which one) because the ache in my chest after watching a victim being cleaved open, lingered for days)

And english classes as a child were always so confusing for me, because when the teacher said I had to write with imagery to make the reader picture the scene, I thought ‘but all writing does that?’. Because no matter what I read, and no matter how poorly written, I could feel and see everything.

So if anyone else feels like this, it would be nice to know

(I’ve seen Hannibal, so I’m not too keen on how this is looking for me haha)
