RICE SHOWERRRR she was actually one of my first ever faves!!! i need to revisit her story and rotate her more in my mind so i get more buuuut…

hmmm… i get biromantic acespec vibes off of her. she doesn’t use labels outside of acespec though. also! rice is a demigirl (mainly uses she/her, but also uses they/them).

i’m extremely loose with age headcanons, and i don’t really stick super strictly to any. but to me, i mainly stick rice shower around 16-17 years old. give or take.

this is… probably just canon, not gonna lie. but they have ocd + an anxiety disorder. probably generalized anxiety disorder.

she also has cherophobia (specific phobia disorder surrounding the fear of happiness/being happy). again, probably just canon but yknow

i’ve played around with the idea of shipping her with matikanefukukitaru… can a horse who feels like she’s bad luck and a horse who’s fixated on fortune truly fall in love? (yes.)

not a headcanon but the fact that i am apparently taller than rice shower screws me up badly. why. why is she that short.

rice shower reads shoujo manga. i know this in my heart. i don’t know how i know this, but i do.

they also like magical girl shows!! they read manga far more than they watch anime (it’s hard for them to concentrate with anime…) but sometimes they watch anime too, mainly with urara.

i need to get more people on matikanefukukitaru x rice shower. your honor, those two would literally be so cute together?? i like it romantically, but it’s also really cute platonically too.

i think i’m just a sucker for good luck x bad luck. rice and fuku first becoming friends because rice wants to know how to become luckier and not bring misfortune to the peple around her. i can see fuku giving her random trinkets she believes are lucky.

also!! they both place so much of their self image on the idea of luck & fortune, just in different ways!! rice viewing herself as bad luck and fuku seeing all her success as just good luck (instead of the result of hard work & effort). i think there’s something that could be done there.

i don’t think about it NEARLY as much as i should, but i love the thought of t4t4t opeayadoto. ope is transmasc, doto is a trans woman, and ayabe is probably nonbinary but they need to run the arima kinen so they haven’t dwelled on it much.
