Meetings |Suho + Seunghyun
The last time Seunghyun had been in Amsterdam had not been on business. He remembered spending a large amount of money on some of the best product he could buy and spent hours on a comfy couch inside a cafe. He mused as he stepped off the plane doing something similar later, after his business had been finished.
A small suitcase wheeled behind him, Seunghyun strode through the airport until he saw a man holding a sign with his name on it. The man took his suitcase from him, and led him to the vehicle parked outside. The two never spoke, and in half an hour he arrived at a hotel.
Seunghyun knew he would be meeting with someone to assist his job in the city, and on the table in the room he found the information needed. His mission's meeting point, and the na,e of the person helping him were written on the small paper, along with the place he would meet. Seunghyun removed his phone from his breast pocket and plugged in the address before finding a lighter in another pocket to burn the paper.
Inside his luggage he pulled out a briefcase, unlocking it and briefly looking at the files inside before closing it again and leaving his hotel room.

Suho & Kyungsoo || Something Like Strangers
Kyungsoo sighed as he hoisted his make-up bag over his shoulder, the cloudy, over-cast day not helping his mood in the slightest. A job. With a up-and-coming photographer. He wouldn't have minded working with someone new in the industry if it wasn't on Sunday afternoon, a time when he generally preferred to be curled up on the couch, reading a book or watching some mindless but adorable drama. And it certainly didn't help for him to see the name of the photographer who's set had requested one additional make-up artist because one of their previous artists had fell sick, or something mundane that, in all honesty, Kyungsoo was too irritated to care about. Because the two simple syllables of 'Suho' brought up memories he had been better off forgetting entirely. Guardian. The nickname of someone who's existence Kyungsoo had done his best to wipe away, like the incoming tide sweeping away the footprints left behind by enamoured lovers, a merciless thing that erased affection and intimacy as easily as the waves wrapped away seashells on the shore.
University had meant freedom, happiness; sunshine and rainbows and all that jazz. He'd majored in what he loved, had a close group of friends that, while not exactly crazy party animals, had had fun together. For a couple, glorious years he'd even thought he'd been in love. Of course, that was before. Before he realized love was really only a fantasy; before he'd finally fulfilled his science credits with a biology class and learned about all the chemicals in the brain that comprised the emotion humans sentimentally labeled as 'love.' Romance was a butterfly pinned down in a glass box, a strange specimen to be examined and admired, but never touched. And when the glass box shattered, who was to say the butterfly was really there, and not simply an illusion, a trick of the light?
It couldn't possibly be him. Kyungsoo held on to this thought as he made his way into the dressing room, keeping his eyes on the ground in front of his feet. He really didn't want to trip; generally he found that made a very bad impression on photographers, and even if he wasn't exactly in a impress-the-photographer mood today, habits were habits, and he wasn't accustomed to purposefully making a fool of himself. In every set he'd ever been in, heels and belts and all other sorts of mad accessories littered the floor, fire hazards for everyone, and every single item its own little catastrophe for someone as naturally klutzy as Kyungsoo was. Not to mention the fact that many of the items in his bag were made of glass and other delicate material that wouldn't stand up to a fall.
As he gingerly stepped into the room he saw a couple harried-looking workers carrying a set of reflectors into an adjacent room, but no models as of yet and just a couple designers sorting through a rack of gauzy fabrics, breathing a sigh of relief as he realized he was once again a little early. He generally liked arriving early because it gave him time to set up at his own pace, a little bit of peace before he had to work. He unpacked his bag, which was filled with more palettes than he usually brought because he hadn't been given any instructions on the shoot besides "show up," and glanced around for anyone who looked vaguely like a photographer. A ball of anxiety was rolling up in his stomach like a mild case of food poisoning, and he took a deep breath to steady himself.
It was a chance in a million that this Suho was the Joonmyun he'd known, right?
