Love is sweet
To give you some context for when you read this (tho how you even found this I have no idea how) Tory and Jones are part of my OCs. They're both in college. Tory's a transfer student from Ireland. A bundle of sunshine and rainbows glitter who wants to be a fashion designer and make clothes for every gender. Jones is the resident trainwreck, on his second try repeating his classes, and Tory's roommate. He's generally a very laid-back, easygoing guy who'd call himself boring on a good day, until Tory comes barrelling into his life with his dreams on finally living on his own (sort of) and finding all the online friends he's made while growing up so sheltered and overprotected.
Disclaimer: Any art or music I link, is not mine. I only own my characters and ideas. That said, please enjoy Kibum's dreamy voice. 🌟
Jones would admit it out loud as many times as he liked, but the way Tory would skip ahead of him in that excitable way of his, leaving the rebel to follow a few steps behind and admire what a cute picture his boyfriend was, was one of his favorite things. Fall was just starting but the rains hadn't come yet, and Tory had been moping and whining at the weather alerts for rain that'd keep them stuck inside even more so Jones, being the nice guy he rarely was, decided to take them out for a nice long walk around town to enjoy the sunlight while it was still here.
Today his hair was bubblegum pink. Jones had gotten used to how frequently Tory dyed his hair, which was basically every other day. There didn't seem to be any discernible damage, and he looked hella cute in any color, but pink, red and a combination of the two would always be Jones's favorite. He liked how the silky, straight strands looked splayed against white sheets, or spilling over his shoulder when the little battery would finally run out of juice and fall asleep cuddled in his lap. Jones especially loved waking him up slowly by playing with his hair.
Tory's green eyes twinkled back at him as he shot a smile at Jones over his shoulder, then spun around and took his hand, dragging the chuckling rebel along to show him whatever it was that caught his eye. The green of them was like nothing Jones had ever seen, except in the storefronts of jewellers, because it was a deep emerald with so many shades yet still bright and seemingly sparkling with its own light. When he'd affectionately called Tory "kitten", those eyes lit up like neon, and he was bawled over by the tightest hug. He couldn't've miss how red Tory's face was.
The hand that held his was sinfully smooth, and the grip loose. Jones knew Tory was capable of surprising strength at times, but for the most part, he always felt like if he held on too tightly, he could crush that delicate hand with little effort. The last thing he'd ever want is to hurt his little battery...well, unless upon request. Under the collar of that cute top, Jones was sure the remains of their makeout session from last night were still there. He was confident in his abilities that the hickeys would last a while on the pale skin, and make Tory blush every time at the memory.
His outfit today looked, as always, like something straight outta a magazine. Next to him, Jones knew he looked plain in his brown leather bomber jacket, white tee, indigo denims, and scuffed black boots. From head to toe, Tory looked like a dream. He had on a cute white button-up shirt under a blue, pink and gold letterman jacket with his initials on the back, a knee-length pleated pink skirt with patterns of gold stars streaking around the hem, white stockings and those cute little low-heeled doll shoes in cherry red. They even made a little clickity-clack sound with each step.
It took a few seconds but Jones started to recognize the route Tory was taking them down. It was to the small Asian cafe in a corner away from the main district. It was where they'd ran it into each other, and where they'd had their pre-first-date date, because he took Tory to the theme park afterwards. They made the most detailed mini cakes Jones had ever seen, and Tory was crazy for them and the different flavoured bubble milk teas. It was so adorable sometimes watching him that it hurt to breathe. No human being could be this cute, yet here Tory was.
His little battery stole his heart so easily. More than the way he looked, the way he spoke, it was the way Tory was. He was kind, oftentimes too much. He had such an open, honest personality and a face that betrayed everything. When he was sad or touched, he'd tear up. When he was angry, his cute little elf-like ears would turn red and he'd scrunch his eyes up, as if not seeing the cause would make it go away. And when he got flustered...oh boy, when he got flustered, especially if it were because of something Jones did? He'd turn all shades of pink, stutter, and deny so cutely.
Today was going to be a sweet day~
