Train's new song "Drive By". I have been a huge fan of Train since 2002 and "Drops of Jupiter", and every album up until now has been awesome. But with this song, I kinda get the feeling that they're trying to stay "in" with the music nowadays. It just doesn't sound like something that would come from them. I can't wait to hear the new album though and hope it's as great as usual! Don't get me wrong, I DO like the song, and believe that bands should be able to evolve. But what I don't agree with is doing it only to conform to the sound of the radio today. If it's what they want, then fine by me, I will continue to support them 100%.
And did Butch Walker work on this album/song with them? I love him and everything he does and just wonder if this was produced by him. I thank Train for introducing me to the musical genius that is Butch Walker two years ago. :)
