It has been a couple of days, but not nearly enough for not for her conversation with Devon to not feel as fresh as it did. Jordan could remember each expression clearly and the image didn’t make it easier for her to focus on class. She spent the entire week skipping the last class and this day hadn’t been the exception. She hadn’t seen Devon the entire weekend, figured it was probably for the best after the ridiculous breakdown she had in her room a couple of days prior. Sitting in the woods proved a distraction, a form of comfort she couldn’t find inside the school. That was, when there wasn’t people trying to talk to her regardless if she was, or not, interested. Like the two spirits currently sitting beside her on the tree. “ Isn’t like, people in these woods you two can’t go scare, or something?.” The question left her lips in an annoyed huff, her eyes glued to the paper and the dark lines she had been drawing. It wasn’t until the sound of a branch crushing that she raised her eyes, turning sharply in the direction of the sound, frowning at the person a couple of steps away from her. Ghosts entirely forgotten. “ ... Devon?.”
