“she.”

he watches simon the whole time, listening as the TARDIS reacts to him. he’s not brought a cyberlife android into his home before, it’s a new experience for them both. he wonders just what simon sees with his intricate sensors and processors. hard to know.

“she’s alive, almost like you. it’s complicated and i don’t get it entirely m’self. but she’s conscious. she’s got a personality.”

“I disagree.”

She follows after, soundless, her head incidentally ducked like a predator who tends to stalk prey. She recognizes this behavior and raises her posture, lets her shoulders push back, tilts her gaze up in addition to her chin. Her steps, so much shorter than Margot’s, fall in line until after a few quick strides put her right beside her.

“I think you are more courageous than you think.” Mouth opens-- only a little, not enough to expose her teeth. 

She thinks Margot is captivating. (She wonders if she knows that she does not smell like prey to Alana. She wonders if she knows that, for all the way humans scent of mortality to her, Margot, too, is predator in a way she does not yet know.)

“And I think you are reluctant to accredit yourself with it.”
