I am a place holder. I am the coaster that keeps the water from dripping onto the counter. I am the variable in the math equation-- the only purpose being to find x and simply get rid of it in the end. I am the temporary filling to a root-canal. I am the band-aid that covers your wound until it properly heals and you just don't need it anymore. I am the life that fills the empty void in your heart until you find the love of your own life. I am nothing but a place holder.
