It almost makes me feel... horrible.
He says nothing at the words, just wanting Seunghyun to hold him again. To tell him that he’s sorry for leaving Byunghun like that, and that he’ll try not to do it again.

It almost makes me feel... horrible.

I wonder if this is how you felt when I was absent... as though all of time went still and the days were incredibly drawn out. Nothing can fulfill that need and want to be beside you other than... you.
At least the elder acknowledges his faults, he supposes. It is better that Seunghyun understands how much it hurts to be left alone, wanting, waiting. He knows it’s bad for him to feel bitter pride that Seunghyun feels the pain he does -- to want to rub it into his face. But Byunghun is tired. Tired of this, tired of the tension.
He just-- wants them to stop being like this.
So he hangs his head, waddling closer to gently headbutt Seunghyun in the chest and wanting to be held. To feel the warmth again.
I miss every aspect of you but most importantly: just you.
Byunghun takes the words the elder says with a grain of salt. He doesn’t mean to be pessimistic but in light of recent events, he’s not sure how to feel. Truthfully speaking, he’s still a little upset over Seunghyun ditching him for days without a word, a letter or a note. The elder, of all people, knows how easy it is to truly reach out to him. It’s also not the first time this has happened either. The first time the elder went away without a word, Byunghun’s entire world flipped upside down. And one can’t blame him for protecting himself from the same pain.
But he still can’t help it, mumbling out a small, ‘I miss you, too’, even if he just wants to break down and cry.
Yawning and rubbing furiously at his eyes, he collapsed into bed beside the other male, unaware of what he was doing. Shifting closer, Seunghyun rumbled low and tiredly, words coming out incoherently as his body curled to fit the younger's figure, resting beside him.
Clenching his jaw to repress a frown, Byunghun allows the elder to scoot closer to him and then curl up beside him. He keeps the frown for a few moments before sighing out, releasing the one-sided tension and rolling over to throw his arm across the elder’s middle. The young prince scoots closer before nuzzling his face into the crook on Seunghyun’s neck, seeking the addictive warmth he has been missing recently.
“Stupid,” he whispers out, closing his eyes; uncaring if the elder is still awake and able to hear him or not. “Why do you keep carrying these burdens by yourself...? I wish you would rely on me more...”

Brat.
"Your one and only.”
Please don't ever leave me.
“I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again; I’m your shadow. I will never leave your side. Not in this life nor the next. Not even in death. There have been times where it seems I’ve faded into the darkness, unable to be seen, but I’m still there with you,” he says quietly, reassuring the elder with the same words he has said years ago. And will say again, and again, even if the elder gets sick of hearing them. “In the dark or in the light, you’ll always have me.”
`Sleepily rambles as he clings to the younger's arm, lips just in front of the other male's ear; .... Your patience has paid off.
“Sleep, hyung,” he says quietly, suppressing the urge to chuckle at the cuteness of the elder.
