        ✘ —“Quite unfair, isn’t it?” She hums at the thought. Being in the business for quite a while and being a trainee for as long as she has, Jennie has encountered some people who can be ruthless. Those who use their looks as a sense of entitlement, as if people actually owed them something. “But that’s life I guess.. But wait- who exactly are we talking about here? You had me lost.” She chuckles, crossing her arms over her chest and looking around the backstage area where they were in.

        ✘ — Jennie stares at him wide eyed. It’s not like she’s super spooked out about bugs, but just the way he worded it made it sound like it was something dangerous. “What- what is it.. Get it out..” She whines, staring at him with her helpless eyes. “I swear to God, if this thing bites me.. I’m going to lose it.” She didn’t even know what it was, but as per usual she just assumed the worst of things. “Now my face is itchy, hurry! I want to scratch it aaah~”

         ✘ —“Are you sure? It’s .. It’s really energetic. Well, he’s really energetic. Too much if you ask me. He tends to overwhelm people but if you’re into puppies, then he should be good.” She giggles as she hands the blue leash over to the other female. They just happened to strike a conversation backstage in the Inkigayo dressing rooms- with her sunbae’s group promotions underway for that day, and her own as well. “His name is mochi... Because he looks like a big ball of white mochi.. Hahah! He’s one of our stylist unnies’ puppies and we always love to watch over him. Isn’t he cute, sunbaenim?” The younger’s bright eyes dart up towards the purple haired woman, smiling.

              ✘ —“Okay tell me, tell meee!” Her cheeky nature comes forth. Finally, someone between the both of them has thought of something they could do to get rid of their weekday boredom. If she had to be truthful, it was still quite perplexing for her to be hanging out with such a legendary sunbae of hers such as Yoona, but she wasn’t going to complain. “So, what is it sunbaenim? What is this great idea of yours? Ooooh~ I’m so anxious~ I’m really wanting to get out of the usual routine and do something fun!”

         ✘ —“A monster.. To what extent though? I mean, I think we’ve all made mistakes in the past. Some that may make us look like one, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that it pertains to your whole character though.” Jennie had to grow up fast, which explains the maturity in her words. She could attest to the monster bit though, as even before she was able to debut, a lot of people were under the impression that she was also a monster of sorts during her time back in New Zealand. “But really though, I guess you can count me as one of those people who tries to see the good in everyone? So I don’t like labeling people as monsters, per se.”

         ✘ —“Better than I expected! I didn’t think we’d win that one, either. It’s all so surreal to me, really.” The female was referring to her group’s past win last weekend of course. Patting her cheeks, she inflates them for a few moments before speaking again. “I must say though, I loved your group unit’s comeback. I still listen to it- even in the showers! Aha, it’s so funny to say that but really, it’s true.” Her nose scrunches when she laughs, hiding behind her hands.
