Is there any audition process for milgram band? or is it more informal?

It's more informal so no auditions! This band is more of a space to make finding other MILGRAM musicians easier and to have a communal space to cover, make, and upload music. Members could form sub-groups and hold auditions for those instead though. For example, if some members wanted to perform together at a convention they're going perform at, they could definitely hold auditions on who'll be part of that group. Or if some members are more serious about creating a band then there can be auditions held by them. Maybe if someone wants to create a polished cover on a song, they could have people audition for whichever instruments are still needed.

Big Jimothy was in my house, but…he didn’t look like Big Jim. He was something darker, more sinister. And I was just trying to work on something but every time I turned away, I could swear he was cursing at me. Like in this sharp, gravely voice, and I’d turn around and he’d stop and he’d just be…sitting there, staring at me. It’s ridiculous, but it was oddly scary, and I woke up feeling really uncomfortable.”

“what was the last wish you made?“

“Oh geez…the last one I can remember is uh…to ‘stop feeling this way.’ The way I felt after Scott left me. I’m getting better though. I wouldn’t make the same wish now.”

“how important is others’ approval to you?”

“I definitely want people to like me…or I guess more than that, I want them not to dislike me. But I’m mostly fine at the end of the day as long as I have people in my life who love me.

Sometimes though, with certain people, I get way too caught up in trying to impress them.”

“Do you try to avoid doing anything dangerous?”

“Yeah, I’m a coward. Some superhero I’d make, huh? Though one of the themes I try to push a little bit here and there in The Shift is that you don’t have to recklessly seek out danger or dive headfirst into it without fear to be a good person or a hero. So maybe I’m too hard on myself.”

“Do you like playing with children?”

“Oh yeah. Getting to hang out with my little nephew has maybe been the absolute best thing about coming back to the Cape for me. I love that kid to death. I can’t even tell you how happy that little dude makes me. I don’t have a ton of experience with other kids, but the few times I have, they seem to like me.”

“if you receive a present you don’t like, how hard do you try to seem happy?”

“I dunno, I’d say I’m pretty good at it. I think. If I focus more on the fact that someone got me a gift in the first place, I can show gratitude pretty well, even if the gift itself isn’t great.”

“Are you kidding me? Have you met dogs? Have you ever seen an elephant? Cats can be rude, but if they could talk, I doubt they’d chew me out for 20 minutes because their food came out cold.

…actually, they might. Okay, humans are pretty cool and all, but not necessarily better than other animals.”
