âi just finished this one comic, morning glory. that shit was dark, but so interesting, you should take a look, if youâre looking for recs. itâs an older series, though. lee followed him to the shelf, listening diligently as he described the plot. âsounds interesting, much more interesting than anything i was looking at back there,â she took the second copy of the comic from the shelf, identical to the one the stranger was holding in his hands. she turned it over, thoroughly sucked in by the art style. âiâve always wanted to read the scott pilgrim comics, but iâve only seen the movie before! i know, i know, i need to read it, right?â she rambled a bit, still flipping through the pages as she talked. âanything else? iâve got a couple of extra bucks, and i was hoping to treat myself to more than just one comic,â she shrugged, looking up at the other. âiâve been reading a couple of webcomics lately and getting hooked. you ever heard of lore olympus? itâs got me hooked right now.â
âOh yeah, Morning Glories has been going on forever,â Keiran said. âIs it still going? I never got into it myself. You should definitely read Scott Pilgrim though. I love the movie a lot, but thereâs so much more to the comics.â
Keiran thought for a minute. âHmm...I havenât read Lore Olympus, but Iâve been hearing things about it here and there. I kinda wonder if this might be your speed.â He looked just a little further down on the same shelf until he located The Wicked + The Divine Vol. 1. âThis series is...wild. Iâm not that far into it myself. I need to catch up. But I think maybe you could get into it if you like the idea of gods and goddesses and all that.â
At that point, he realized heâd forgotten to introduce himself. âOh, Iâm Keiran, by the way. Nice to meet you.â
