The sound of a tail repeatedly whacking the side of his crate could be heard as Jules pulled up to Lilly’s inn. For awhile now she’d been trying to find the right babies for Lilly that suited her wants and fit the animals needs. She’d ended up finding a pair in need of love, along with an extra foster that mysteriously got along really well with them. She leashed the shepherd and helped him down from the bed of her truck, then grabbed the two cat carriers. She made her way up the inn’s porch and, thankfully, before she had the chance to struggle with opening the door, it opened to reveal a grinning Lilly. “Hey,” Jules greeted. “I bear friends.”
