To partake in such viewings of a scenic sight of the moon was quite a rare sight to behold of the Kanto Champion, seeing that she was quite content with the sights offered by simple trees and their flowerings. Call it an exception of sorts, perhaps, with how the one source of light that provided its luminosity upon the many times that she had opted to stay outdoors would be considered to be quite some importance to Maia. After all, who could pass by the opportunity to witness the rarely seen lunar eclipse?
Not only would that be considered rare, the very fact that she had asked for permission from the League to partake in said viewing would be said to be considered astronomically rare. When was it when she had last even been seen by the staff at such an hour-- not many would know the answer to such.
Regardless, permission had been granted, hence her current whereabouts: upon the peaks of Mt. Moon she stood, with Eon by her side, eager to watch the transition of the now still alabaster moon turn to hues of red. Frost blue eyes watching, a soft smile graced her features as she spoke, though with words that were no louder than a whispers, solely intended for her pokemon companion to hear-- though with a tranquil tone hinted in her spoken words.
❝ The moon.. it’s so very, pretty. Don’t you agree, Eon? ❞ And due to the lack of an expected mew of response to her words did her attention avert over to the initial position of her companion, inquiry leaving her lips. ❝ ...Eon? What-- ❞
Tinging her cheeks immediately after was a light shade of pink, as after she had turned, she had only come to find the presence of another trainer beside her in the place of Eon. The aforementioned Espeon on the other hand, was now curiously scrutinizing the stranger while sat at Maia’s heels, twinned tail swaying behind her in a lax fashion.
❝ ..Ah. I.. didn’t quite notice your arrival, and mistook you for my Espeon by accident. That was quite rude of me.. I do apologize. ❞ A quick apology would suffice, hopefully-- though it was soon followed by an attempt to stray from it soon after, ❝ Might you be here for the eclipse as well? ❞
