{ @praeteritus-memories a lil drabble in return for this~ }

While Aoba roused into waking up, it took another moment or so before the man beside him would do the same. Minato hadn't snuggled up overly close to the form beside him… but it was still close enough that when Aoba shifted to hide his face, it stirred the blonde into waking up as well.

"Mm…" With a soft noise rolling through him, pale lashes parted with a slow blink before gold gaze focused on the set of hazel looking back at him. And truthfully, some part of him might've been just a bit surprised to find Aoba still beside him… Rather than let on to that fact, however; a small, still faintly sleepy grin curved over Minato's lips.

"Yeah, I did…" About to playfully return the question, he instead held off as the other kept talking-- soon enough breathing a light laugh as he propped himself up a bit. "Ya had a lot more confidence than I would've expected for some virgin punk~…" Switching gears a little with his playful joke, a smirk now took the place of that earlier grin.

"I have editing work to do… Ya know that, right?" Looking down at the large feline curled up both within his lap, and up across his chest, Minato asked a rather rhetorical question. The blonde knew he wouldn’t get an answer, of course— but still, he couldn’t help wanting to ‘question’ the cat regardless.

One of the rare visits he’s made to Shizuma’s place, and after making the mistake of relaxing on the couch before trying to get work done, he’s now stuck beneath one serval out of the pair that’s usually causing some sort of trouble… Sighing as golden hues shut for the moment, it seems the blonde was set to accept his fate for the time being— bringing an arm up to pet the feline’s head and rub behind their ear.

“Just because I go and give Masashi a little extra attention doesn’t mean I love the rest of you any less, ya know that, right?” The blonde sighs this question lightly, looking on at the other creatures surrounding him.

Kei looks on at his trainer with a telltale cat squint— one that seems subtlety doubtful… but seems to suggest room for belief. Perhaps if given some pampering as well.

Shion, meanwhile— almost seems to pout. Not so fully as to turn away, but… enough so to greet Minato with a sidelong glance.

Mizuna, though… did commit to a full on pout. Coiled up body faced away from his trainer, for the time being— as the large serpent didn’t even try to meet his gaze.

Azuki, while also somewhat pouting… Mostly looked on at his trainer with a soft frown. The little fox wanted to get brushed too! And maybe be given a treat or two…

And lastly, Yuzu is busy 'giggling' over everyone else being so silly~.

🌷} "Mn... Just because my beloved is like a breath of winter, doesn't mean I'm thrilled with the cold..." Cue one spring-like dragon complaining softly to himself, as an attempt to curl up and sun himself has only left Fu-Lin caressed by winter's lingering chill.

🌦️} There is, though, a baby boy snuggled up close-- trying to help keep his 'mama' warm--

Golden gaze looks upwards at the creature assessing him, a rather stunned expression present on the man's face-- Just what in the hell was he looking at??? Some kind of bird? And why did said bird(?) have to be so damn tall-- Current stunned expression gave way slightly with that thought, a subtle twitch of thin brows and hints of a frown shifting the blonde's features. However, with the words soon spoken… Minato found himself snapped from that state of surprise, and instead into a touch of amusement.

"Ha-- A little bold there, don't ya think?" Letting a note of laughter slip him along with that question, he also allowed his expression to relax into a slight smirk. This situation still felt weird, but… Maybe it wouldn't hurt any to humor things. "If you're gonna open with something like that, are ya going to back it up too? Or just stay all the way up there?"

☕} "I really do wish you'd be more careful sometimes, you know..." Willow scolded the other man gently, dabbing at the cut on Elias' forearm with a bit of alcohol soaked gauze-- already expecting that the other might hiss about it. "And before you say it, yes I know, work is dangerous. But that's not going to stop me from worrying about you sometimes." He sighed lightly, setting the stained gauze aside once he'd finished with it. Afterwards, looking up at his lover with those bright blue hues.

"It's not bad enough that you'll need stitches, but let me wrap it, alright?" Finally, a slight smile graced Willow's lips-- grabbing the roll of gauze, he made short work of wrapping the wound... Rising up from where he'd been kneeling after, he didn't move away, however. Instead, he brushed his palm against Elias' cheek, before leaning in-- pressing a caste kiss to his lover's lips.

🍡} It seemed a long night was set to play out even longer-- The cool weather outside forgotten long ago, in favor of the heat now being built and shared between two bodies, spread out and tangled with one another upon the large futon.

Pale skin flushed pink like spring blossoms, gained a deeper hue as another wave of pleasure traveled through Ajisai's form-- drawing a sweet sound somewhere between a moan and mewl from the hybrid. He was no stranger to these pleasures, that was certain, but even so… With his head already fuzzy from sake earlier in the evening, and body hot from the same, it was all that much easier to have him melting beneath the other.

"Ahhn~… Please-- please, d-don't stop…" Even if part of him knew already that he would be spent by the time they finished, that did nothing to stop the plea that tumbled past his lips. Slender fingers trailing up along the other's back, before soon enough sliding into the man's hair-- with Ajisai taking a gentle hold as his body trembled.
