💚- A memory that makes them feel guilty
When she broke up with Ted. She’d found out over the summer she was being betrothed to Lucius Malfoy and knew she couldn’t keep seeing him. When she got back to school she was first cold to him, trying to freeze him out. Finally when that didn’t work she straight up told him he disgusted her, the fact that she’d ever let a muggleborn touch her was disgraceful and made her want to retch. She told him he was too far beneath her for her to ever even consider him, that their relationship was a moment insanity for her. That he was too gawky, too weird, that he’d never be good enough for her so he should leave her alone and go find some other filthy muggle to be with.
