The infirmary was cold and still they insisted that Havok had to take off his shirt. It was only a cut, at least that’s what he had told himself. He was stitched up in no time but still there was paper work. Havok’s attention soon switched from the cold to the green haired woman walking through. “The scars aren’t sexy,” Alex turned to face her. “I’m sexy enough without them but if it helps, I’m not complaining.” The audible scoff from the nurse could be heard but Havok just ignored her. He looked to his destroyed suit. The black one with the regulator on its chest and honestly, he hated that suit.
Polaris couldn’t help but snort, rolling her eyes at Alex. “Mhmm. Whatever helps you sleep at night.” Although, she couldn’t technically disagree with him. He was attractive with, or without, the scars. Admitting that out loud would only feed his ego.
She sat down beside him in the chair and crossed her legs. She eyed the cut. It didn’t look too terrible, but she was still glad he had come to get stitched up. Polaris noted how he glanced at the suit-- with distain or longing, she wasn’t sure. “We can get you a new suit. I’m just glad you’re going to be okay. Can’t have you falling apart now, can we?”
