She'd was throwing out the some of the bags by the side of her shop into the industrial bins whilst talking to Cyrus who had offered to give her a hand as she continued to vent. "I know you tried to warn me against doing anything too silly at the time and I know he was trying to help because I was way too wasted to go swimming, i know that, but he's just so frustrating! I think the worst part is I know I ought to apologise, but Godric if I don't want to do that. My annoyance with him is somehow outweighing my guilt right now which is ridiculous but I'll never hear the end of it from him if I admit to him I was wrong." Lucie told him with a heavy sigh as she leaned against the wall, arms folded a little bit petulantly. "It was just horrible that night, arguing with him and everything afterwards. At least by the time I finally made it home I was too tired to do much else but sleep, you know? It's just... I'm so tired of fighting with him but I don't know how to be anything else any more." Lucie admitted more quietly. Fighting protected her from everything, it kept her at a safe distance, it helped stop her from caring too much and reminded her why she had to do it in the first place.
