To say Sophia had been surprised to get a text from one of Rachel’s supposed friends would be a complete understatement. For all she had known up until recently, Rachel had been dead for three years, so hearing that her sister had been alive and well and making friends only hurt the youngest James sister even more. She didn’t understand how Rachel could hide so much from her when if the roles were reversed, Sophia would have told her everything - and she never would have let her go through the pain of believing she was dead. Not just gone.. dead.
Staring over at Tyree where he still lay unconscious, she sighed and ran a hand through her hair. Even though she couldn’t drive this friend of Rachel’s home, she had promised to meet up with her and try help her out, not to mention the fact that Rachel was apparently not answering her phone. Deciding to try give the number Rachel had given her a call, she frowned as it rang out and went to voicemail. A lump formed in her throat as she listened to her sisters voice - for the past three years she had called Rachel’s phone on the nights it was too tough, just to hear her voice. It shook her to hear a voicemail that was so similar, but so different at the same time.
“Hey.. there’s someone I have to go see. I’ll be back soon, text me if anything changes?” she said to Shona, giving her a brief hug before leaving.
Making her way to the room Olivia had told her to go to, Sophia felt a little anxious, but she quickly pushed it aside. Knocking on the door once, she opened it slowly before stepping inside, smiling slightly as she saw a blonde in the room.
“Olivia.. right?”
