“Would it be unprofessional if I wrapped my employee’s Christmas gifts up in this?” Declan questioned, holding up a roll of Christmas wrap that had dinosaurs wearing Santa hats patterned all over it.

“For the record, I still think your choice in candy sucks.” Shanley commented, emptying out a bag of assorted candies and chocolate bars onto the desk in front of him in an endless mess.

There was an issue with the Floo network that landed Poppy in the wrong tea shop and she had to sprint to make it to the right one in time. Breathless, she slipped into a seat and hoped tucking a few stray strands behind her ear would make her appear more polished than she felt after the run. “Fucking Floo network has been shit lately,” she said by way of apologizing for her rush into the building. “So, you’re looking for models? What’s the new venture?”

Diana knew Colin wouldn’t be too happy to see her, but she hadn’t stopped by the bar because of him. Then again, he surely wouldn’t be pleased about the reason she actually came. "I’m not here to see you, don’t worry. I was wondering if Scorpius got here yet?”

Novia had been in Ashbourne for only a few days, barely settled into her barren property but upon her arrival she had learned about the Frost’s Home for Displaced Children. The Frost name held a special power, a mythos and she felt uneasy that they’d opened a home and were charges of children. If there was one thing Novia cared deepest for, it was children. Her distrust of vampires had made her suspicious of the home’s intentions.

She would not act on these thoughts, but still she strolled past the home curious. A smile on her lips as she heard the familiar cheers of children playing outside. Her eyes drifted back to the sidewalk until she caught a glimpse of orange in her vision. Underneath the man’s strawberry locks were familiar dark eyes. Sweet and innocent. “Oliver?” Novia called, “Oliver Lynch?”
