The diner wasn’t as busy as it usually was, which was a relief to Lili. There were a handful of regualrs who had come almost every day, however among them there were a couple of new faces. Lili turned to the counter with a plate of chocolate chip pancakes in one hand and a pot of freshly brewed coffee in the other. The brunette approached the guy sitting at the counter and looked him over before asking, “ You weren’t the one that ordered the chocolate chip pancakes were you? “ she asked, tilting her head slightly.
