Nellie had been slightly distracted, her attention landing elsewhere as the other continued their story. She could have sworn that she had spotted something out of the corner of her eye but perhaps that was just her eyes playing tricks on her or her overactive imagination. Quickly she shook the idea out of her head, directing her attention back to them again. â Iâm sorry.. I was just a little distracted there for a minute....you were saying? â
Pam was having the worst of luck. She had a little run in with the cops and just barely got away. So now when she thought she heard sirens, the red head wasnât taking chances she ran into the closest boutique in front of her made her way to the back, almost knocking over a rack of clothes she slid into a small dressing room. before her eyes met the other, â just move along with your business and youâll be fine pretend Iâm not here.â She cautioned giving the other a series look.
Heather normally avoided places like this like they were the plaque but after being thrown up on by a drunk guy that had attempted to hook up with her, desperate times called for desperate measures. She had been trying her hardest to ignore everyone in the shop and get out of there as quickly as possible but it seemed that he efforts were in vain when she heard someone had called out ot her. Heather let out a snort at the request, before rolling her eyes, â Trust me, Iâm sure that wonât be too hard to do. You and everyone else in this place seem pretty forgettable anyway. â Â
Even though graduation was something Veronica knew that she would be faced with she wasnât sure how she was going to react when the moment finally came. But this definitely wasnât what she imagined. She was at a party being thrown by one of the kids at school and instead of enjoying herself like she probably should have been she was moping by herself. Her legs hung over the side of the pool and feet kicked lazily at the water. She had been in a daze until she heard someone approaching and looked up toward them. âDo you want some?â She held up her half empty red plastic cup to them as an offering. âYou can finish off the rest and Iâll even let you drink from my flask if you sit down and be miserable with me.â
Max had been making an effort to get out more and actually attempt to have a social life so a party was naturally a good first step. However, Max found himself having an awful time, silently wishing that he hadnât even come at all. Going outside to be alone, he had found someone else there, apparently not having much of a good time either. Max took a seat beside her, resting his chin on his knuckles as he listened to her. â Already there... â he deadpanned. â Whatâs got you so upset? The shitty music? â he asked, his attempt at being playful.Â
joan was fixing a small stack of papers as she finished up her lecture, having a certain love-hate relationship when it came to speaking at the local university. while she didnât enjoy the students that zoned out or preferred to text rather than pay attention, she did like the powerful feeling that she was leaving an impression on some of the lawyer-hopefuls. maybe they would be more competent than half of her colleagues. she felt someone approach her, not bothering to look up to see who it was as she continued to put her things away. âwhat is it you need? i donât have any sort of printouts, so you may want to ask one of the others for notes. if thatâs not it and you donât have a glass of wine for me, then i have to be off.â
Nellie had gone to as many people as she possibly could to get results on a survey she had created for her sociology class. While some had participated most had just her brushed off. So she approached the other half expecting to be told no just like all the other times. â Uh.. actually that wasnât what I was here about at all. Iâve been just going around hoping to find participants and was hoping you could take this survey for me? Itâs for a sociology class Iâm in. Itâs about how society perceives others based on social class, if youâd be interested in filling it out? â she held out the paper towards her with a hopeful grin.Â
âhappy pride!â joy called out, all smiles and rainbows as she stood at the street corner. she held a small clipboard as she attempted to stop passersby. âweâre such a small town, but we have so many diverse people â itâs such a shame we donât have our own tiny pride parade! it would be so fun and we could make it like a little beginning of summer bash while celebrating everyone and who we are. if you wanted to, maybe you could help out with that? you could be part of the parade, or help out with it, or just support it? i even have some,â she said, reaching into her pocket. âsome fun little stickers. would you like one?â she asked, holding out several stickers of different pride flags.
One thing that Kory had loved about the town was how diverse and accepting it seemed to be. She saw love as love no matter who it was between, especially given her own preferences. To her it didnât matter what their gender or sexuality was, she loved people regardless! The idea of a pride event seemed like a great idea to the perky redhead. â Oh that sounds like a wonderful idea, I would love to help out! â she agreed, â Absolutely I would! Thank you friend! â she accepted the sticker happily, before sticking it to on to her bag.Â
john let out a heavy sigh as he fiddled with a pen in his hands. he had a request from his mother and he was to see it through or see her get disappointed again â and he hated to see his mom like that. but, he didnât know what was worse at the moment: seeing his motherâs disappointed look or asking someone if they wanted to hang out. heâd been given the typical lecture â go out, have fun, be a regular teen and make mistakes. but he he couldnât let himself make mistakes. âhey, did you want to hang out or something? itâs a saturday night and i didnât have anything planned, so,â he trailed off with a shrug. this was beyond embarrassing.
It was safe to say that Cindy didnât exactly have that many friends, not from a lack of trying however. Sure she had a few people that she considered to be friends but she was far from being the most popular girl in school. When she was invited by the guy to hang out she found herself pleasantly surprised. Blinking over at him she found herself smiling shyly. â Sure! What should we do? Personally Iâd love to go to the movies! â she enthused sweetly.Â
Shirley had a late night class so it was pretty dark when she got out. The brunette didnât like walking alone but was safe about it, but when she heard a loud thud she quickly without thought pulled out some mace ready to aim it at the others face. â whoa sorry you just startled meâ an awkward giggle left her lips âand your to tall to be a dog so yeahâ.
Newt had been returning back from the shelter after a particularly long day, returning home with a stack of flyers to post around town. He had been trying to keep his distance between himself and the stranger that was in front of him but he accidently dropped the stack, cause him to drop down to the ground to gather them up. What he didnât expect was to be threatened with a can of mace when he glanced up. â Oh no, Iâm...that was certainly not my intention. â he confessed.Â
âHey, you want this?â Tina asked, approaching the otherâs table with an extra, untouched iced coffee in hand. âThey got mine wrong and they were just going to throw it out, so I figured Iâd keep it and win my good deed for the day,â she explained with a nonchalant shrug. âIâm not really a good deed type, but karma probably exists and I have a lot coming for me if I donât start counteracting it now,â she mused with a small laugh. âAll you have to give me is a thank you and maybe a compliment on my new shirt,â she said, stepping back to show off her crop top.
Karen had glanced over at the woman, blinking in surprise from being addressed. â But... what if like...I donât like your shirt? â she asked. It wasnât said out of amossity but merely out of curiosity, although it clearly could have been taken the wrong way.Â
Even though the spunky redhead always went out of her way to help people, perhaps her vigilante work had gone a little too far. She had seen a poor young boy almost get robbed by a group of no good teenagers and was quick to come to his defense. Luckily the kid had gotten away without a scratch but the same couldnât be said about her. Even though she had put up a pretty good fight she had still been left injured. As Barbara caught a glimpse of someone walking by and had weakly called out to them from her spot on the ground. â A.. little help here? â
