The Vanguard had finally been suppressed now that Brute was knocked from his throne, so to speak. He was recovering from his injuries in Altamira and as soon as he was healthy he would be escorted to Meltokio’s prison. Had it been ten years ago, the man would have faced the same trials Regal had, and be forced into fighting at the Coliseum. Surely without Solum’s core Brute would find battles far more difficult, as it granted him not only power but offered the same effects as an Exsphere. He would be powerless without it.
Right now there was a lull in Regal’s travels with Emil, Marta and the others. They all needed a break before heading to the Ginnungugap, and Regal had business to take care of at Altamira.
He was just leaving the hotel, looking over some paperwork in his hand when he stopped short of walking into a young woman. “Pardon me.” He apologized.
