Hanamaru had stayed home today since she wasn’t feeling well, so Ruby sat in class feeling rather anxious. Being the shy person she was, it was hard for her to mingle with the other students. Of course everyone was nice to her, many of her classmates were from her junior high school so she knew many of them and they knew her-- but despite her best efforts to smile and speak with them, it was rather difficult.
She turned her head to see that Yoshiko had just arrived. Thankfully she seemed normal right now. Ruby had grown used to her whole fallen angel persona, actually she had grown rather fond of the cute act, but she wasn’t sure if she could handle dealing with a Yohane outburst without Hanamaru there.
“G-good morning Yoshiko-chan.”
Ruby mumbled with a sweet smile on her lips.
“Maru-chan isn’t here t-today... She has a cold so I made her s-stay home.”
