The general mood of the team after the game seems to be trending more towards frustration rather than victory, and he knows well enough that the first person frustration like this tends to get taken out on is the person who draws it up, who makes the choices that affect the players themselves. Wymack is--difficult--to get angry at, even though many have tried, and he has the power to actual lasting damage if someone goes to far. Sebastian is not quite as untouchable--he’s young enough to be a member of the team himself, and he’s got just enough authority that makes him an easy target for anger. So he’s got no qualms in making himself scarce tonight and celebrating the victory on his own, because despite everything his offense had scored six goals.
He changes into a soft pair of sweats and an old USC t-shirt that he he’s long since cut the sleeves off of (you can take the boy out of California, but you can’t take California out of the boy), and he opens his balcony doors and lets the cool air curl into the room. He leans against the railing and idly traces the lines of one of his tattoos, watches the people below move quickly and slowly all at once, watches the lights of Nashville and idly wonders how long it will be until Noah stops by. His thoughts are quickly pulled in that direction, but he’s startled out of them by a knock on his door, which means that someone wants to either get something off of their chest or something bad has happened. It turns out to be the latter--as he opens it to Dom with the beginnings of a black eye and a split lip.
“Y’know, for someone who claims not to care about the team, you seem to, y’know, really care.” He sighs and mutters in Spanish under his breath before opening the door wider so the manager can enter.
