Yanqing accept the envelope with a bright smile. He has received a lot of envelopes today, but this is one of the best just because it's from Dan Heng. "Thank you, tánggē. I wish you happiness and prosperity," the teen replies.

Tucking the envelop safely inside his robe, he motion for Dan Heng to come with him. "Dinner is almost ready and don't worry, baba has not been cooking." Yanqing would not want that to be their new year's dinner.

I have not achieved much this year.

BUT. I managed to shut my very controlling, very manitpulative mother up TWICE. In the span of three days.

And considering who we are talking about, I think that's something to celebrate.
