The last thing Jax wanted to do was talk to Tobias. Knowing that the older man was back on the ship made him feel a mess of emotions - ones that were wholly unwelcome. There wasn’t time to sort through the strange pain in his chest that stung each time he saw Tobias’ faces when they had hostages on the ship.
Unfortunately, Jax knew that Tobias could likely be of some help. He’d known Bradway before Jax had, and he’d been one of his closest friends...or at least, Jax thought he had been.
Jax walked purposefully up to where Tobias was hanging around on the deck and held a fistful of letters out. “I need you to read these and tell me if you know why Bradway didn’t send them.” / @father-tobias
