Exploring D.C. ~ Laurel & Celia
5 pm, D.C. | @laurelsmiller
The day to day life of The White House and it’s little empire surrounding it could come off as intimidating to some people. Celia Bosworth was not one of them. She knew this place like the back of her hand and navigated through the masses with such ease. The same crowds seemed to circle her, fancily dressed office workers carrying briefcases and the tourists with big camera’s. Alexandria didn't seem so far away but tended to feel like another world compared to all of this commotion. Celia’s coat flapped in the wind as she wove her way through the crowds, leaving her work behind her.
As she turned around a sharp corner, Celia abruptly came into contact with someone else. The shock was instant but wore off quickly as she looked up to meet the eyes of the other person. “Gosh! I’m sorry!”, she replied as she quickly ran her fingers through her now-short hair. Her eyes glanced down and noticed the phone in her hands, open on Maps. “Can I help you get anywhere?”
