“are you free? can you be right now? and for the next oh...insert large number of hours?” marley stood on the porch of their kodiak home, her head poking in the door that was wide open, along with pretty much every window in the house letting fresh air in, and for a day unseasonably warm, it was starting to feel like spring, and look like it outside where little wild flowers were starting to sprout up. blue eyes were on iris and her smile spread, stepping in to their rug on the floor just inside and stopping right there.

“well i....have lost my touch behind the counter. i can’t remember what you drink. you should file a complaint and get me fired.” marley smiles, finding familiar brown eyes as they appeared in her bar.

[ he flinched and almost jumped back 5 feet when she started to swing towards his crotch. a cringe leaves his lips when she makes contact and he feels pain shooting through his body. ]

she knew she’d hit low but so had he, literally, so there was nothing but a proud smile on her lips. ‘muscle memory will now tell you to turn around faster next time you go for my ass. i did you a solid.’
