Remembered the post-jc run in the novel and went down a rabbit hole
Maybe, when Jim goes back, he knows better. He knows how to stay alive. He knows how to keep Toby alive. And he does.
But maybe in his desperation and focus to keep Toby alive, he neglects to think of anyone else.
Maybe this time Claire dies.
And Toby... that's his best friend. And she's gone now. And that's on him. He's the Trollhunter. He could've saved her.
But he's got the power to go back now. So why wouldn't he use it?
So Toby goes back. He knows what it means to carry Daylight, and he doesn't want to do it anymore. So he gives to someone else. Someone he knows is capable and strong. He gives it to Claire. (Maybe this time, Daylight will protect her).
So they go through it again, but... it's different this time. Yeah, Claire has Daylight, but there's no one to wield the shadow staff. So things go differently. Maybe somehow they make it to the end, but it's a different timeline where Toby's knowledge is useless. And this Jim isn't the original Jim, so he doesn't know anything this time.
So maybe Toby dies this time. Maybe both he and Jim do. And Claire is left alone.
So she goes back.
Jim would be a capable Trollhunter... right?
And the three of them just keep doing this. Playing hot potato with the amulet no one wants in a desperate attempt to keep each other alive.
Maybe the universe is being held hostage by three kids who love each other too much to let each other go.
was looking back at unexpected guests and thought it'd be fun to convert error's blaster into sans's blaster design from it
individual:
was a little harder to draw than i initially anticipated but i think that just makes me appreciate the care put into this comic even more. the comic and blasters themselves are cool
unexpected guests - @undertalethingems error - loverofpiggies
Here is a really vague drawing of Sg-1 and the main color I associate with each of them.
Why you might ask ? I have no idea.
We have a new kitten. His name is Harrison. He's a blonde himbo and I love him.
He's so silly.
