How does Aaric know Xaden killed his brother? They don’t keep track of who kills who during threshing. There’s no way leadership would’ve let Xaden get away with it if they’d known.
Whipped by a Sorrengail
Xaden followed Violet at a random bookstore smitten he helped her reach a book she wants. Violet said thanks by wary of the stranger. Xaden wants to know her name when she heard her maid calling her to leave They checked it out and saw Garick aksing Violet’s maid for her name. With a lighting speed one of her daggers pins Garicks jacket sleeve on a bookshelf. Glared at Garick and left with her maid.
Drake has heard of Mira as a formidable rider. Once Mira has injured one of his friends he vowed to avenge him. The friend laughed and said she would be his type of girl. Eventually he saw her in battle, while she is on top of him he is distracted by her beauty. Mira stabbed him on his arm and he smirked at her as he got turned on. He pulled her to his chest and she felt it. Eyes widden she left him.
In Navarre, Xaden and Drake with the marked ones were invited as tag alongs to the leadership summit.
They arrived at the palace during the night they both hate the Navarrians and plans to escape first chance they got.
Next morning they got to be at brunch with the Navarrian’s elite. They were introduced one by one to the king queen lords and generals of Navare. Just then the usher pointed out the Legacies table. Prince halden, Mira, Prince Alic, Prince Cam, Violet, Dain, Rhi, Sawyer and Ridoc.
Drake and Mira’s eyes catch while she glared at him he crooked his head and smiled at her. He did not know that Mira would be in the palace. It was a nice surprise for him but just then Prince Halden said something to the group and she laughed-they laughed but Drake only has eyes for Mira.
Ridoc laughing his head tilted and Xaden saw Violet laughing. She is small that the people around her towers her. When their eyes catch her smile flatten and his grew. He bowed slightly a gesture as if to say nice to meet you again.
Later that afternoon both they are at the patio overlooking the courtyard. Liam saw Xaden and Drake staring at the Sorrengail sisters, who are both in seating under a tree reading.
Liam: so… the plan to leave early…
Xaden: i think i’ll stay actually.
Drake: yeah, me too.
Liam taking the cue that it must have something to do with the sisters walked towards Bodhi and Syrena.
Liam: i get it both of the sisters are beautiful but is love at first sight really a thing?
Bodhi: Xaden saw her at the town, spellbound he followed her to a book store. I don’t know what happen but she throw her dagger to Garick and the bastard fell in love.
Liam: really? I did not know Violet could be Violent.
Bodhi: hence, the pet name he calls her. Violence
Syrena: As for Drake we’ve known Mira for a long time. She is a formidable rider once he saw her during battle he was enchanted. He is spellbound as well. She stabbed him and he fell in love. He calls her his rider.
Liam: the Sorrengail’s are dangerous.
The three of them laughed. While looking at both men still staring at the sisters.

Violet and Mira just got back from a meeting with their mother both are wearing bodycon maxidress (Mira brown and Violet in black) and their flight jacket they are walking towards the gym to throw some daggers. They notice people running to the gym as if they are fans of a singer. They entered the gym they saw Xaden and Drake half naked sparring.
People gather (mostly girls) around them curious about the two handsome visitors. Mira and Violet stayed at the back. But their eyes follows everymove of the two men sparring. Mira lean back at a table while Violet sat on the table to get a better view.
Mira: hmpf show offs.
Violet: you seem to know the captain…
Mira: yes, because I stabbed him and…
she flushed when she remembered how he tugged her and felt his hard…
Violet: and?
Mira: nothing!
Violet: Hmmm… he is still alive so… you like him?
Mira: what? No! And you think I don’t see the way the Prince of Tyrrendor looks at you?
Violet: looks at me? He was not!
Mira: he was staring at you the whole time at brunch!
Violet: so is the pompish captain! He was staring at you!
Rhi emerge beside them.
Rhi: and you two are now staring at them!
Violet: no… no… we are just… what are we doing?
Mira: learning their fighting style…
Rhi: sure! I wonder what would your mom think…
Just then both Xaden and Drake paused to look at them. They stare and stare at the sisters. The crowd seems to notice that they parted to make way for the men.

While Drake and Xaden sparring Garick noticed the Sorrengail sisters enter the gym. He knows Xaden is smitten. Then he observes during the brunch that Drake seems to be enchanted by the older Sorrengail. He wonders of the sisters feel the same way as both stopped and watch his friends spar. He let them spar for 5 more minutes to see if the sisters will eventualy walk away. He does not want to disturb Xaden and Drake sparring sessions for nothing. When he is dure that the sisters are indeed watching them. He smiled and called their attention.
Garick: uhhh.. guys you have an intresting audience.
Both used to girls attention ignored him. He rolled his eyes and tried again.
Garick: seriously I think if I did not tell you, you both will kill me.
They still ignored him. He sigh.
Garick: Brennan’s beautiful sisters are watching you!!!
And that made it. Xaden and Drake paused to look at the crowd. Their eyes falls to Violet’s and Mira’s amused faces. They stared and stared like there is no one else in the gym.
Some girl in the crowd murmured: Ofcourse they are intrested with the Sorrengail sisters.
Drake: how long has she…
Xaden frowns turns to him.
Xaden: by she you mean…
Drake turns to Xaden
Drake: Mira is mine!
Xaden: Good because Violet is mine!
The crowd parts as if to make way for them to reach the sisters. But before they can take a step Prince Halden and Cam enters the gym with iced coffees for the sisters. Both smiled at the princes and took their coffees.
Prince Halden put his arm around Mira’s shoulder as he leads her out while Prince Cam pinched Violets cheek teasingly as they follow his brother and her sister out of the gym.
Xaden: Want to go for another round?
Drake: Sure, I suddenly want to punch a prince.
Both jealous of the Princes they sparred again.
Liam entered the gym
Liam: what is wrong with them?
Garick: both are whipped by a Sorrengail.
Liam: let me guess Mira for Drake, Violet for Xaden?
Garick: spot on! Want to bet who would Brennan kill first?
He asked Liam because he is confident that both sisters will end up with his friends.
