under the cut is the continuation of @unsacrificedsafety timeline regarding the beth timeline from 1998 to 2006. working within the established canon adopted from hayley’s / @implausiblynaive​‘s blog that rick has been back in their lives since the kids were little ;;

1998

beth and jerry graduate high school.

jerry begins class at the local community college.

beth is accepted to the university of wa studying for her bachelor’s in veterinary science.

1999

beth and jerry move into their first apartment together.

summer turns two.

jerry takes a position as a personal assistant in a law firm.

beth continues to work the third shift at a local call center.

2000

mortimer smith is born in olympia, wa, just outside of seattle

due to complications following morty’s birth, beth undergoes an emergent hysterectomy.

2001

beth takes a second job as a vet tech at the local equine clinic.

beth is accepted into the graduate program studying for her doctorate in veterinary science at the university of wa.

jerry graduates from the community college of everett with an associates in marketing.

jerry gets a skilled position at a small time marketing agency in seattle.

late 2005

rick sanchez shows up at the apartment door while beth is home alone with the kids. they begin to reconnect.

2006

beth graduates with her doctorate in veterinary medicine, with a strong focus in equine studies.

beth is offered a full-time position at st. equis in seattle and gives notice at her two other jobs.

beth and jerry purchase their four bedroom, two bathroom home in olympia, wa; the suburbs of seattle.

summer and morty stop sharing a bedroom.

rick is invited to live with the smiths.
