My Book Guide

I've posted about all of my books individually, and I've got a big ole list on my official boring author tumblr (@olliefoxwrites ) but I thought maybe I should do a round-up of all my books. I write romance, erotica, and horror. All books described and discussed below the cut!

I'm a self-published author, which means every sale matters a lot to me, and I don't use AI in anything--writing, editing, cover art, marketing. It's all just me. All of my ebooks are under $4.

Death's Embrace (Death's Sentries #1)

The Guardian

If you like romance, demons, queer themes, found family, D/s elements, emotionally impactful smut, protective but respectful love interests, and/or spooky atmosphere, you might like my first novel, The Guardian!

The Guardian is about a bi woman who has spent years building a life for herself after family estrangement. In her newly purchased home, she discovers that instead of a guardian angel, she was assigned a guardian demon. Normally she would have to wait to meet him until the end of her life, but he is permitted to make contact early because he has been elected the new Prince of Hell. Rough Handling is my first book and consists of a bunch of short smutty stories. Many of them were originally published on my old sex blog or in other publications, but a few of them are exclusive to the book. There's a bit of a fantasy and paranormal lean in a lot of these stories, but there are also a few of just ordinary nerds in love and other such nonsense.

Shared Spaces

If you like short stories, horror, atmospheric spookiness, ghosts, and ambiguously paranormal activity, you might like my two-story horror bundle, Shared Spaces. EDIT: This is also free now on all platforms except Amazon, which doesn't allow me to set a price lower than .99.

This is the only one that isn't novel-length; I put these two short stories together last year for Halloween season, but I still like them! Both stories share themes of not being quite as alone as you think. It's also free everywhere except Amazon, which won't let you list less than 99 cents if you use another publisher.

This one also has 5 stars on Goodreads, though not many ratings, because it's pretty short.

Horror Addicts Appearance!

I'm featured in today's episode of the horror podcast Horror Addicts! The theme I'm discussing is Queer Paranormal Romance.

At the beginning I talk a little bit about the queer appeal of paranormal romance as a genre, and near the end you can also hear me read a 15 minute excerpt of my first novel, The Guardian (Amazon | Bookshop.org | Ko-Fi), which centers around a bi woman with themes of queer alienation and estrangement, as well as found family.

Being queer in 2026 is difficult. We’ve had an increase in acceptance in the past twenty years, but things are sliding back sharply again, because progress is a spiral rather than a straight line. But even at its kindest, we hear certain narratives all the time. We are ourselves treated like ghosts and monsters, sometimes even by well-meaning allies or others in our community. Our lives are meant to be in the dark, like a secret, or brought out occasionally for the spectacle before being tucked away again. People come out to their families, and their parents mourn the loss of a person who is very much alive, more alive than they ever were. Queer folks are told repeatedly that our experiences aren’t real, that we must be mistaken, as if we are ourselves some sort of cryptid to be explained away.

Proudly announcing my latest labour of love: since a frequent topic of discussion in the virtual ttrpg community was how difficult it is to find non-ai art that gets released for commercial use, I'm taking matters into my own hands and starting my very own token line!

"Nix's Creature Tokens - Deadly Desert Dwellers pack" is a token pack that contains 45 portrait tokens: 25 base ones, plus 20 extra "special" tokens, inspired to my previous DDD title - you'll find the dune hag, the skin snatcher, people dressed appropriately for desert weather, and also an example of potential "Black Raider" fatigues.

The tokens are released with an ORC notice, on the same grounds as my previous DDD book.
