Magic as delicate as silk
...and maybe also a question for the other ask because it really has a few good questions I am curious about!
If they had to flee a burning building, which possession would they be most keen to grab on the way out?
Cool
Tumblr ate my answer to this the first time. Take 2-
Killian, assuming he has a weapon and is already wearing the hair clasps Thancred gifted to him, would grab next his violin. Even though it's not his favorite instrument to play, the violin is what gave him a job when he had nothing, so it's sentimental.
Killick would struggle some, he has a lot of books and luxury weaving materials, but he also has gil and the teleport capabilities to rebuild his library and reacquire most things. He'd first reach for some practical things like his weapon, his linkpearls, his glasses. He has the book on sailing and navigation that Carvallain used to teach him to read, so that would be next for sentimental reasons and because he cant replace their anecdotes in the margins.
Canto - I can't remember if I wrote him having G'raha's bow still, but if he does, it's that. It might be in the Rising Stones, actually. He keeps his memories on him - beads in his braids to honor V'kiani, for example, so even without it, he'd still have a necklace or something with an arrowhead, or use the feathers from the fletching in his hair. I'll have to write that in.
Ka'li - it's his journal/botany notes. There's a lot of sketches of plants and flowers from his journeys, and pressings, so losing it would be impossible for him to recreate.
OK, please work this time....
spooky scary skeletons???
Bored at work which means prime Passio posting hours.
Daughter....
That is all.
New memories, right?
If it is not too late for it I still have question for the Sleep Headcanons Ask:
17. Do they snore or talk in their sleep?
I like to think miqo'te sometimes purr when in a deep sleep and when they feel safe. So that's not a snore, but it's still a light sound. Canto's the most likely to talk in his sleep because of how vivid and creative his nightmares can get, but the Echo also does that a little for all of them. So the general answer for that one is yes.
Killick sleeps on his back most often - a remnant from sleeping in hammocks for so long - so he snores a little when that happens. Killian sometimes fully stops breathing at night, and it scares the shit out of Thancred when it happens. Usually it is when he's anxious. He'll usually sleep on his side or on his belly hugging a pillow.
Also, all bets are off when they are sick or congested.
