The rogue smirked as the kitten knocked item #13 off the counter with a bat of his tiny paw-a small glass that surprisingly didn’t break on impact-before answering. “Well, I figured everyone likes a kitten and I thought you might enjoy the company,” he shrugged.
“Alright, that’s fair.” He didn’t even move to catch the glass; he stopped trying. But he did pick it up and place it somewhere out of the little thing’s reach. “Oh, yeah, I love this lil’ guy. Just wished he could stop knocking things over. Maybe I should pick up some things so he doesn’t get bored.”
He’s holding her close, arm wrapped around her shoulders as they sit in bed and watch some program or another from the local channels ( he just got this neat little device that can link up to the channels in the surrounding area and hey do you wanna test it out ). It’s late, and really they probably should be asleep by now.
But he’s still sitting there, at her side, until he lets out a rather loud yawn. She turns to him, he raises a brow at her.
And then leans over to kiss her.
“ Sorry for distracting ya, ” he says sleepily, “ but I’m kinda tired, so I think I’m gonna go ahead and sleep. G’night, love you. ”

Pacing back and forth.
He’s kind of distracted as he moves, but Leo still somehow manages to keep himself from tripping over things that are scattered around the control deck. Without really realizing it, he makes a mental note to clean up the mess later, but just as his hands rest on one of the panels it’s back off in mere seconds, and he’s already across the room.
“ Yeah, yeah, I hear you. ” Whatever he’s talking about, it sounds like a big deal. “ It’s important, I know. When d’ya say y’ need me there? ”

Leo hums as he walks back and forth across the kitchen. Normally, he doesn’t cook; he’s incredibly bad at it…
But for one reason or another he works up the courage to try it this time. A recipe is spread out on the counter and he keeps coming back to it to make sure he’s doing everything right. ( Oh, come on, Leo. How are you going to mess up scrambled eggs? )
Finally, though, he finishes. Without much in the way of dramatics, he serves a portion onto a plate and sets it down at the table.
“ Okay, you know I love your honesty, ” and he’s really not expecting an excellent review, “ but go ahead and tell me what you think of breakfast. ”
Yet another daring escapade, another contract to STEAL someone’s belongings for someone else. He’s done it plenty of times before, and loves the adventure–but for a reason or another, the way she says the farewell makes him falter before he pulls the bag’s strap over his shoulder.
“ Don’t worry. I went over everything–ya know, I think I picked that one up from you. But I’ve gotta get to this now, so… ”
