forced fun

The last bit of any class is always the longest. Hilda sits in her seat anxiously awaiting dismissal and freedom. She looks down at her notes in an attempt to distract herself and realizes that it wasn’t really notes at all. It’s just a bunch of doodles and Hilda Valentine Goneril’s in different script. (She can’t exactly write Mrs von Riegan anymore. Not since Linhardt caught her and refuses to let her live it down.) She needs something fun to cleanse her brain of this excruciatingly dull lecture and staring at the back of Lysithea’s head gives her an idea.
As soon as the class ends, she skips over to Lysithea, books completely abandoned on her desktop. Someone surely will notice she’s “forgotten” them and deliver them to her later. “Come on, Lysithea! I won’t take no for an answer!” Hilda commands cheerfully as she grabs the other girl by the arm after class. “You work too hard and it’s way past time you let yourself have some fun for once.” She drags the mage along the path to the dorms, her superior strength a reminder that she means it--Lysithea is joining her whether she wants to or not. “Besides, I really need your help. I just bought a new shade a lipstick and I can’t decide what I think about it. I’ll even help you with yours if you want!”
