luggage

“Are you sure you want to carry that, sweetie? Maybe you could carry the bag with all of my shoes in it instead?” Watching Inigo struggle under the weight of her very heavy steamer trunk is not as enjoyable as it was supposed to be. He was just supposed to help her carry some of her packed luggage and it wasn’t even supposed to be all that heavy. But she grossly underestimated the weight of the trunk in question and now poor Inigo was huffing and puffing as he lugged it with him.
Maybe she could have packed just a little bit lighter. Eight pairs of shoes probably would have sufficed instead of ten. And maybe the entire jewelry box was just a little bit too much. But they were going to Morfis! She’d never been there before and likely wouldn’t have the chance again. Her brother was going to be furious when he received the letter that she was being sent there after she already arrived, but she really did not want to risk him storming into the Academy and refusing to let her go off on such a dangerous mission. How embarrassing. Hilda wanted to make her best first impression on the mages they would be meeting with and being stylish was the key to that. Being stylish meant a giant steamer trunk and three other smaller bags.
