A human, he stumbled on a real human!

A wide grin stretched his mouth, tiny and bony fingers moving to muffle his excited giggles. That was his chance to get all the recognition he deserved! All the other kids would want to be his friends if he captured them, would not they?

Papyrus did not waste any more time and shouting loudly, he pounced on the human, clinging to their legs.

The child was intently watching the ( way ) older skeleton with a slight apprehension. No doubt there, this was Sans, his big brother... yet he looked and felt somewhat different. --- Papyrus felt cold shivers down his spine with him close.

    ❝ – Saaans? Brother, why aren't you wearing your fluffy hoodie? You... You look a bit scary in that outfit... But, I'm not scared!! – ❞

The young skeleton had been staring at a "weird person" for a long minute, a puzzled expression stuck on his skull.

Papyrus could not determine what kind of monster they were. They seemed to be a female, taller than him, graced with bright beautiful purple eyes, dark brown hair, and a furless white skin.

Weird. He had never seen anyone like this before... ---Oh, wait!

    ❝ – WOWIE! – ❞

He exclaimed. A loud gasp escaping his ( nonexistent ) lips was slightly muffled by his small gloved fingers as finally the obvious struck him.                    She was a human. His voice then came unusually low, just above a whisper as if it was a secret.

    ❝ – Are you a human, lady? Oh, wowie! You're a human, right? Cool! – ❞

Papyrus looked at his brother with insistence, not uttering a single word during minutes.

There had been a question burning his tongue for days, although he was slightly worried that he might seem simple-minded asking it. However, he would never know the answer if he never did!

This was stupid, Sans would never judge him! So finally, the youngest decided to open his jaw.

    ❝ – Tell me brother, what did you bake the other day? You know, the quiche filled with a sugary, non-egg substance. – ❞

Papyrus had been staring at Sans for long minutes now, an awful feeling clenching his non existent stomach. He was checking for another potential break down --and was still confused about whatever happened the last day... or what was going on.

He knew he should have said something by now, however, worried about his big brother, he had no idea what words to use.

The skeleton was proudly standing on tiptoe, his right leg lifted from the ground; one of his arm was spread in order to balance himself, while the other was bent, allowing his index and middle finger to form a ''v'' in front of his eye socket.

In all honesty, the fact that he had not fallen yet was a miracle.
