    “ Oh my God!! ”

    Without much hesitation, Maisy dashed a few steps up towards the redhead and beamed at her hair.  And what nerve she had to even reach up and pinch a little lock of it.

    “ You gotta tell me what hair dye brand this is, this color is too perfect! ”

    “ It takes a very secure man to walk around with long hair with a pink streak in public. ”

    Not that this was a bad thing -- many guys she knew had long and/or flamboyant hairdos, she just was surprised to see a normal person who did the same.

    “ Hey, hey -- ”

    “ -- Takamaki, hmm?  Sounds real familiar ... ” Holding a finger out to keep the girl where she was while she thought, Maisy took a good few seconds before the answer came to her.  “ Oh, you’re parents design those snazzy clothes, right?  I think I attended one of the fashions shows they put on ... but I don’t remember which. ”

    “ Well -- you know -- ”

    She wasn’t sure how to describe it.  It was a snake plant!  That’s what she’s been told, anyhow.  She asked for a good house plant for someone who doesn’t know the first thing about plants, and then it was plopped in her hands.

    “ -- it’s ... just a bundle of long leaves that stick vertically out of the ground.  The one I have reaches to about the middle of my shin in its pot.  I’ve been told they don’t need to be watered all that much, yet it’s still wilting.  I don’t know if I am over-watering or under-watering it. ”

    “ I feel so awful that I can’t keep an easy plant alive, you know.  I hope it doesn’t die. ”

    “ Call me obsequious -- ” she starts, sheepishly turning towards the redhead.  Her tone was apologetic, obviously feeling a tad embarrassed.

“ -- I guess I’m a bit dramatic. ”

    “ Listen, I am sorry if I am disturbing you, ” the girl finally speaking up after wandering the same block, shoving her hands into her dark hoodie’s pocket.  “ Alla eimai hlithios ... I was wondering if you could just ... tell me where I am? Nothing seems, er -- familiar. ”
