Craig could vaguely recall hearing on the news that there would be some heavy snow rolling in, but he didn’t think it would get so heavy so fast. He had to admit, he was a little worried-- he had a curfew, after all ( one of the... Perks of being an underage Charter, one might say ). But he was sure his father wouldn’t want him travelling in this weather anyway. He’d just have to call and explain the situation to him later.
“ Oh, it’ alright! I can think of worse places to get stranded. ” he’d respond to Remi with a teasing tone, gently nudging him as he observed the cousin’s playful squabble. “ Sofa’s got a point. As long as we’ve got heat and electricity, you won’t hear me complaining. ”
Still seated on the couch, Craig took a moment to think about what to do. He wasn’t sure how long it would take for the storm to pass, so there was no point in sitting around being bored. Then, he remembered something.
“ Oh! That reminds me-- ” leaping onto his feet, Craig headed to where his bag was, and began digging through it. “ I was saving this for later, but the snow’s got me in the mood for something sweet and warm. ”
Carefully, he pulled out a diligently-wrapped casserole dish. How’d it fit in there? Who knows! Don’t think about it.
“ I made sticky toffee pudding for everyone! I can just heat it up in the oven, and it’ll be the perfect thing to warm everyone up. ”
