so i had this idea…
as some of you may be aware, i’m currently RPing NEAR aka the faceclaim for this guy over at @becausehecheats, and since nero and near share a faceclaim heck i even made his stage name similar to near’s code name lmaoooo and similar personalities…well, i think you can see where i’m going from here.
i already have two pokéverses for near, so i thought, what if there was a third. what if i merged nero into near on @becausehecheats in a weirdass AU where MELLO was Number One and near became nero instead out of his bitterness. i mean, to me it’s not that much of a stretch, since i already hc that near has punched mello in the face on at least one occasion and it was only happenstance that he grew out of that sort of shit. not to mention, in the pokémon world, a bold fighter like mello would culturally be considered stronger than the more reserved and nonviolent near, so in this AU near could be constantly jealous of mello for getting all the attention and being a straight-up better battler. the more i think about this, the more i want to do this, especially since i feel increasingly like hey, nero is just near if i made near edgier.
therefore i want to ask you all, would you be willing to continue rping with this muse if i merged him with near? and for those of you in the death note fandom, would you find such a timeline and altered personality plausible for near’s character?
