OPEN STARTER.
His silver gaze flickers, attentive, between his patient’s face and the notepad in his lap. The office is quiet but for the scribblings of his pen on the paper and the record softly singing Scriabin’s Allegro appassionato Op. 4 from atop the bookcase. Oswald’s attention is unyielding as his interlocutor speaks, and he scarcely needs to look at the notes. Dutifully, he lets a small silence hang; what a revelation he has just been given! If he were a fox, pale-pelted and fine-eyed as he is, he would be licking his chops.
A gracile hand pushes the glasses further up his face as he redresses from note-taking, shifting one leg over the other. His leather shoe glides on the turkish carpet without a sound. A hum, all consideration, all opening to more.

Patron Saint of Lost Faith.
patron saint of leaving it by the roadside. patron saint of it slipping out of your fingers. patron saint of searching and searching. patron saint of yearning for it back. patron saint of scraping your fingers down to the bone trying to hold onto it. patron saint of losing it anyway. saint of lost faith. not the saint of getting it back.

WHICH TRAGIC DEATH WOULD YOU SUFFER?
The Sacrifice.
you die saving the thing you love. maybe it is family, friends, perhaps even a cause. they will carry your face with them for the rest of their lives, and every milestone they pass will make them think of you. it does not matter because you won't be there to experience it with them. years down the line, they will meet people who do not even know the weight of your name upon their skin. this is what your selflessness gets you in the end.

you're the kind of person that makes people feel safe. you probably couldn't be intimidating if you tried, but that doesn't matter. what matters is your kindness and compassion, your innate way of making people feel happy. you're so good at taking care of everybody else, but don't forget to take care of yourself, too! you deserve the same love you give so freely

WHAT IS YOUR ROLE IN A TRAGIC PLAY?
misunderstood villain
prepare for an onslaught of both the most dehumanizing and hateful takes, and flood of thirst comments. you are chronically misunderstood. whether or not you're actually evil is debatable. you may be acting out for revenge, to defend someone you love, or even just to protect yourself. you're a pretty jaded person. you don't trust or even really like most people. maybe you did at one point. but that part of you is gone, and you don't go a single day without grieving it. you think a lot about what your life could have been. YOU'RE STUCK IN THE PAST. you're angry and maybe you don't even want to be, but this is the only way you can see to survive. you're open, but less in a trusting way and more like a wound. you don't like to let people see you, but the hurt spills out of you before you can stop it. you're impulsive, even as you try hard to plan and prepare. maybe someday your side of the story will finally be heard. until then, you can convince yourself that being hated is safer anyway.
